Busuu: Illustrated Characters​

In 2024, Busuu introduced a series of illustrated characters designed to enhance user engagement through relatable personas: the Success Seeker, the Traveller, and the Student. These characters were crafted for versatility, with adaptable color schemes, outfits, and settings to fit various contexts.

As the lead animator on this project, my responsibilities included transforming the static illustrations into fully animatable characters. This involved preparing the illustrations, rigging them for animation, and creating key motions that bring the characters to life. My work ensured that the Busuu characters are not only visually appealing but also easily editable to be dynamic and interactive, ready to engage users across different learning scenarios.
